Weekend Reading

This week has been very busy, I mean dragging, between projects and filling up new calendars. I finally feel like there might be some light at the end of this tunnel. I mean week. But here are some things I came across: Last week, I read a random piece by Richard Hyfler on Forbes which made me think about looking for things in the wrong places. Sometimes what you are looking for is right in front of you. In the self-help, since this week was dragging here are 4 questions everyone should ask themselves from The Everygirl. Right after that, read Cracked's 6 harsh truths . In that order. It may just change your life. In things to look forward to Carrie Bradshaw has her own Manolo shoe line and it is almost here. Don't worry, the Coveteur captured it for us [ here ]. Collection will be out Feb. 28th at Nordstrom :) Check out this girl's career dreams ! I get it. PS. I may keep doing these every week.

The Best Places to Think

I sometimes, most of the time find myself stuck. You know like when you are trying to maybe write a paper or even come up with a new way to do something. And all you need is a place to think. Thought I'd share some of the places I find are best for me to think when I have a lot on my mind and cannot move on to the next thing. First, in the shower, I do realize I posted a picture of a bath. Both work for me depends on the day really. There is something about just relaxing and washing the germs off of your body that is very cleansing to the mind. Depending on the time of the day, being in the kitchen cooking or baking a delicious dish , believe it or not will help you get creative. For me, making a good pasta dish or baking something from my Pinterest "cookbook" (we all have those) clears my mind. There is also that option if you are near a television, watch a documentary . For me to clear a mind and think it is best to watch something meaningful. Something where

I have been on trips before but never really wrote about it. Probably a lost opportunity, months ago I had a job which literally required me to live out of a hotel room for about 4-5 months. But that is enough with missed opportunities. I have turned a corner and now, will take my own advice and take more trips and pictures (all my favourite things) So, Bridgeport. I had never been there. Since it is the holiday season, to be precise Thanksgiving weekend (American Holiday), why not visit. As the semi pre-cautious person that I am, I looked up some information about the area and stumbled upon some websites where I could get to know the area before I got there. It seems like a very decent place to live on the coast. As much as I wanted to take pictures, it was so cold that staying at home eating was much more appealing. The one time we left to go sightseeing, I had left my camera at home. I would have had many more pictures if I had planned for the freezing weather! So,
